RAWALPINDI: After the construction of a school, public park and graveyard under the welfare city project, the construction of a children’s hospital has also been approved in the Punjab budget for the fiscal year 2017-18 at the cost of Rs500 million in constituency NA -52 in Chaklala Scheme III and Dhook Munshi.
According to media reports, before this, there was not a single government hospital in the area.
It is vital to mention here that under welfare city project, the work is already being carried out on two projects, including modern public park and graveyard, at the cost of 150 million on 115 Kanal land, however; now another development project (children’s hospital) is approved for this area.
The concerned authorities have been directed to initiate work on this project in July.
