KARACHI: Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Director General Nasir Abbas has directed Budget Finance and Accounts Additional Director Liaquat Ali to ensure payment of salaries to the employees of the KDA ahead of Eidul Fitr.
He issued these directives during a visit to the KDA Office at the Civic Centre in Karachi, said a statement on Friday.
The KDA DG directed the additional director to take steps for opening of banks branches at the Civic Centres on Saturday so as to facilitate the KDA employees to draw their salaries.
Chief Security Officer Capt (r) Altaf Rajput, Admin Engineering Director Mehboob Alam, Budget Finance and Accounts Additional Director Liaquat Ali, Charged Parking Director Ubaid Ahmed and other concerned officials were also present.
