Two terrorists have been reportedly killed in an exchange of fire with security forces the other day, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement. The statement further detailed that the terrorists were attempting an attack on a check post near Dewana Baba Ziarat, 12km north of Tank.
A nationwide military operation ‘Radd-ul-Fasaad’ is underway nationwide since February, which includes broad-spectrum security and counter-terrorism operations in Punjab, and continuation of ongoing operations across the country. It also constitutes a countrywide de-weaponisation drive and explosive control as additional cardinals of the effort.
