The National Union of Pakistani Students and Alumni (NUPSA)’s UK chapter held an annual general meeting (AGM) at Queen Mary, University of London on Monday. Candidates from all over the UK attended the AGM both in person and through electronic communication systems. Official NUPSA elections took place after the meeting in which representatives from 21 universities participated.
The new NUPSA executive committee includes NUPSA President Hussain Ali the of Imperial College, Vice President Ahmed Khan of the University of Coventry, General Secretary Muhammad Hassaan Khan of the King’s College London and General Council Chairman Hashim Asad of the Queen Mary, University of London. Sundas Malik and Noorul Hira from the Leeds Metropolitan and Oxford University respectively were elected media spokeswomen whereas Jalal Ali Shah of the Brunel University was elected as the publicity officer.
IT has solved many of the difficult problems of man including slow communications and low mobility rates. It has also transformed the education system of the present day world to be dynamic and fast due to the involvement of computers.
