Mainly hot and dry weather is likely to persist in most parts of the country in the next twenty-four hours, the Pakistan Meteorological Department predicted on Wednesday.
However, rain and thunderstorm are expected at few places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Multan, Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan. and D.I. Khan divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and its adjoining hilly areas.
A continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, and a shallow westerly wave is present over upper parts of the country.
