Minister of the State (MoS) for Information Broadcasting & National Heritage (IB&NH), Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that opposition plays a key role in strengthening the Parliament.
Talking to a private TV channel here on Tuesday, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the Parliament is an independent institution and its supremacy and reverence was due upon the parliamentarians.
To a question about Saudi alliance, she said that the defence minister has already clarified the country’s stance in this regard.
The minister further said that it was the constitutional right of the Sharif family to express concerns regarding investigation against them.
Marriyum said that no one should be afraid of the banners installed in the federal capital inscribed with pro-prime minister slogans as they were aimed only to express solidarity with the PM Nawaz Sharif.
She claimed that all surveys have stated prime minister as most popular leader of the country.
