At least four people of a family were killed while seven others were injured when a passenger van collided with a trailer at National Highway here on Monday, police said.
According to details, an ill-fated van was on its way to Vehari when it collided with a trailer.
As a result, four people died on the spot while seven others sustained injuries.
The victims identified as Muneer Ahmed, 45, seven-year-old Ali Haider and five-year-old Farhat while forth child was not identified till filing the report.
After the incident, rescue teams reached on the spot while the injured were rushed to Tehsil hospital.
Police registered case and started investigation.
