KARACHI: Karachi’s Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) has started admissions for its new Fall-2017 semester, which is scheduled to begin next September, in which three new degree programmes of BS biosciences, BE (electrical) and BE (computer system engineering) are being launched.
A spokesman for the university announced on Thursday that Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has allowed MA Jinnah University to start engineering degree programmes in electrical and computer science.
MAJU Deputy Registrar Muhammad Shahzad Khan said that admissions in doctoral programme is also being offered in next semester and PhD in management sciences, electrical engineering and computer science were successfully introduced in last semester. He said that the admissions are also open for computer science and software engineering programmes.
In graduate programmes, admissions are now open for MBA, MCS, MS in management sciences, economics and finance, computer science, electrical engineering and project management.
