Lo and behold! The teaser of the much awaited film, ‘Rangreza’ is finally out! With the likes of Urwa Hocane, Bilal Ashraf and Gohar Rasheed flaunting their magic on the silver screen, we can rest assured that the film will be nothing less than magnificent.
The background score of the teaser has been performed by none other than the maestro Abida Parveen. The teaser introduces us to the characters of Urwa, Bilal and Gohar and what an absolutely wonderful job it does at that!
Bilal, the Janaan star, makes a typical Lollywood entrance walking amidst dreamy clouds in a purple kurta, while Gohar can be seen in a visibly opposite role.
After that Urwa enters the screen who with her loud make up and messy hair looks like someone straight out of a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, which is never a bad thing, mind you.
While talking to a local media outlet, the film’s director Amir Mohiuddin had previously said that the film basically is a love story but it will revolve around the fusion of classical qawwali and modern pop music.
Gohar also said in an interview with a local media outlet that he was very excited about Rangreza as it’d be one of the few musical films that have come out after the divine Sargam. He also revealed that he plays a qawwal in the film, portraying the struggled musicians in our society face.
