Indian batsmen trump “worlds best bowling attack”

Pakistan’s batting and bowling failed miserably at Edgbaston on Sunday in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. What looked like a steady start turned into a series of fours and sixes as Wahab Riaz and Imad Wasim were punished by the Indian batsmen who finished their entire innings at 319/3 after playing 48 overs.

Pakistan’s batting was just as despicable as its bowling as only Azhar Ali could make it to 50 runs and the rest just came to the field and returned back to pavilion after a few balls allowing Pakistan to score just 164 runs after playing just 33.4 overs.

However, it is also important to note that the weather conditions had added to Pakistan’s already stumbling innings.

Giving remarks at the closing ceremony Pakistan Captain Sarfraz Ahmed said that he wound sit and talk with his team about both batting and bowling as the current situation was unacceptable.

  1. Pakistan team performance is also a worry for world cricket. Something must be done to improve it otherwise it will meet the fate of hockey. I do hope there must be lot of talent as its in India , only its the duty of PAK cricket control board to give proper attention …
