The PML (Q) member of National Assembly Riaz Hussain Pirzada has been made Minister of Health. According to official sources, the change was made after the meeting of PML(Q) chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Senior Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi with Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani here at Prime Minister House on Sunday.
Earlier, Riaz Hussain was holding the portfolio of Minister of Minorities Affairs.
Meanwhile, the government also changed the name of Ministry of Minorities Affairs to Ministry of Interfaith Harmony.
