LAHORE: Furious with prolonged power cuts, residents of Lahore’s Railway Power House Baja Line vicinity started a fire on Mughalpura Road to protest against prolonged electricity load shedding on Monday (today).
The protesters claimed they were exhausted and tired of the power outages since the past five days.
A number of people lodged complaints against a faulty transformer with the area’s SDO but no action was taken to rectify the problem, they added. The protest caused a disruption to the flow of traffic on Mughalpura Road.
