LAHORE: People gathered on Mughalpura Road in Lahore to protest against heavy electricity load shedding on Monday.

The protestors said that despite lodging numerous complaints against a faulty transformer with the area’s SDO, nothing was done.

The angry protestors also started a fire which badly affected the flow of traffic on Mughalpura Road.

Karachi was also plunged into darkness as power outages occurred in various areas on the second Sehri late Sunday night.

Golimar, North Karachi, New Karachi, and surrounding areas experienced an electric breakdown on Sunday night once again, exacerbating public outrage after power breakdowns during Sehri and Iftar times on the first day of fasting.
