Pakistan and Afghanistan Cricket Boards want to play cricket for peace

Lahore: Afghanistan cricket team has planned to tour Pakistan during the ongoing year to play a friendly T-20 match against Pakistan.

The announcement came forward during a joint Press conference of Chairman Afghan Cricket Board (ACB) with Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shahryar Khan.

The ACB chief said that Afghan national team would play two T-20 matches against Pakistan.  He added that one match will be played in Pakistan and another in Afghanistan.

He added that sport should always been kept apart from politics and claimed that the ACB looked forward to build a strong relationship with PCB.

On the occasion, PCB Chairman Shehryar Khan said that they had good relations with Afghan Cricket Board.

He added that Pakistan A and Under-19 teams will also play against Afghanistan in friendly series.
