Four suspects have been taken into custody during a search operation conducted in Lahore’s Shafiqabad neighbourhood, police said.
The security officials explained that two of the detainees are accused of violating the Temporary Residents Act. Weapons were recovered from one of the suspects, while drugs were seized from another, police added.
During the complete operation, some 200 houses were searched, the security officials highlighted. Police, elite forces, and agencies collaboratively conducted the search operation. Three suspects were arrested and two suspicious bikes were taken into custody.
During the operation, more than 34 houses were searched and biometric identification of 29 people was carried out, police informed.
