An eighteen year old girl, who was allegedly thrown from the 3rd storey of a building in Hinjarwal area of Lahore, has succumbed to her injuries at Jinnah Hospital, here. .
According to the police, the victim Zahida, resident of Okara, who fell from the 3rd floor of Khawas Khokhar’s outhouse located on Multan Road, on 17 May, received severe head injuries. She was rushed to the Jinnah Hospital after the incident where she succumbed to her injuries after remaining in a state of coma for four days.
Police have registered an attempt of murder case against Irshad and a Rickshaw driver Hafiz Hamid for allegedly pushing the girl from the 3rd floor of the building, whereas murder clauses have also been included in the FIR after the death of victim.
According to the investigation officer Abbas, the victim had reportedly gone to the Khokhar House to meet her relative, Aslam.
The body of the victim has been shifted to the morgue for autopsy.
The body will be dispatched to her native town Okara after medico legal formalities.
The police are conducting raids to arrest the main suspect of the murder.
