LAHORE: The full post mortem report of the murdered domestic helper Munazza, obtained by the police suggests that she was raped before being murdered.
Munazza, who died under mysterious circumstances in Lahore’s model Town area on Sunday – was reportedly suffocated to death.
Munazza, belonged to Vehari but had shifted to Lahore for employment purposes. She passed away on Saturday after she was allegedly tortured by her employer. “The deceased passed away after she was suffocated by way of a pillow placed on her nose,” the first postmortem report had stated. “Torture marks on her face and throat were found,” it added.
However, it was initially stated by the police, that no torture marks were found on the woman’s body.
Munazza’s employer, who is in police custody, is being investigated.
The deceased’s family had alleged that Munazza’s employers used to physically torture her on a regular basis.
