The Fatima Jinnah Women University’s (FJWU) Students Affairs Office in collaboration with National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday organised a seminar on ‘Say No to Corruption’.
The chief guest Director Anti-Corruption Establishment Rawalpindi Region Ibrahim Junaid while addressing the participants said that the mothers have a major role in bringing up the children, their attitude, and development. ‘Say No to Corruption’ was intended to target young ladies in universities and colleges who are going to be future mothers of children, he added.
He said that sincere efforts of the mothers in inculcating basic moral values against corruption besides religious teachings would go a long way in strengthening and bringing a change in the mindset of the younger generation.
The mothers need to cultivate principles of ‘Say No to Corruption’ in their children, he added.
He urged women and youth to join the anti-corruption campaign as they could play a very important role in the eradication of corruption from society.
The youth being agents of change had to consistently spread the message of ‘Say No to Corruption’ so that the upcoming generations could understand the ill effects of corruption which would help in building a corruption free Pakistan, he added
