KARACHI: Pakistan Sarzameen Party (PSP) chief Mustafa Kamal on Saturday announced a large public rally in protest over the lingering issues faced by Karachi.
Addressing a press conference, the PSP chief asserted millions of people will gather at Shahra-e-Faisal on May 14 (today) to peacefully march towards the Chief Minister House for the problems facing the mega city.
“We will present 16 demands,” he said adding if the demands are not accepted, Karachi will not remain as livable that will coerce the people to migrate from the city.
“It is not Rehman Malik era when ‘all is well report’ was tabled over cups of tea. However, time has changed. Now, the rights of Karachiites will have to be granted,” he added.
Mustafa Kamal bristled at the provincial government saying it has taken hold of civic institutions.
