Beijing: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif meeting with hi Chinese counterpart, Li Keqiang said that Pakistan fully supports the One Belt, One Road initiative and would work closely to contribute to regional prosperity.
The agenda of the meeting was intra-regional trade and connectivity for sustainable development of Asia.
CPEC’s progress was also part of the discussion.
PM Nawaz congratulated Primier Li Keqiang on hosting OBOR summit and said that Pakistan fully supports the vision of the project.
Chinese strategic policies are for peace and prosperity and that CPEC presented a great opportunity for strengthening the regional economy, said PM.
Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak, Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Commerce Minister Khurram Dastagir, Planning Minister Dr Ahsan Iqbal, State Minister for Information Technology Anousha Rehman and PM’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz also attended the meeting.
