It is a well known fact that anti-democratic forces, in collusion with unscrupulous politicians, have tarnished our polity in the past. But, now it has dawned upon political forces that it’s high time to set political traditions in the right direction. Viewed in this context, the current move to assimilate previous opposition forces can be considered a harbinger of change.
If today our politicians want to learn from past, let them do so. Time has immense potential to prove their genius. Meanwhile, we as nation need to imbibe in us a spirit of nationalism and participation in the national affairs.
This would prove a strong check against any unscrupulous tendencies of the politicians.
