Sunil Narine has once again stunned the cricketing world by hitting a fifty on just fifteen balls while chasing down 159 runs against the Royal Challengers Banglore in Bengaluru on Sunday.

The record of making fifty runs off fifteen balls was made back in 2014 in Kolkata by the power hitter Yousuf Pathan.

Sunil Narines fifty is also the fastest fifty in this years IPL. Before sunil, the Australian batsmen Chris Lynn has scored a fifty off nineteen balls in the first game of the season against the Gujrat Lions.

Narine was pushed up the the batting order in place of Gambhir and started fiercely hitting the ball from the word go. Once he started hitting there seemed to be no stopping him. the bowler he hit most was Samuel Badree, who had to face three consecutive sixes and twenty five runs in just an over.

Narine did not just stop there, he hit back to back boundaries to the next over as well as he smashed almost ever ball Sreenath Arvind swung at him and finally completed his fifty with a classy six over long-on.

However, the misery ended for Royal Challengers Bangalore when Narine was caught out by a top edge on Aniket Choudhary bouncer.

Narine hit six fours and four sixes in his career-best T20 knock of 54.

Narine’s power hitting has helped Kolkata Knight Riders in the past matches as well as Narine was the top scorer in the last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore, and is also responsible for making 105 runs in the power play which is also a record.
