The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to conduct intra-party election in Ramazan.
PTI’s Chief Election Commissioner Azam Swati briefed the meeting, chaired by party chief Imran Khan, about the procedure of the intra-party election. He also assured that intra-party election would be held within a month.
Azam Swati also informed the meeting that PTI’s intra-party election will be penal-based in which 2.7 million voters will use their right to vote.
Senior members of PTI were of the view that intra-party election cannot be delayed further.
Speaking on the occasion, PTI chief Imran Khan said the election process should be completely transparent.
