The US on Thursday said it would stand by Pakistan despite the strains in the relationship exposed by the discovery and killing of Osama bin Laden by US troops close to Islamabad. “It is not always an easy relationship, you know that,” US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on a visit to Rome.
“But, on the other hand, it is a productive one for both our countries and we are going to continue to cooperate between our governments, our militaries, our law-enforcement agencies, but most importantly between the American and Pakistani people.” In the aftermath of bin Laden’s death, Clinton said Washington and its allies must continue working with Pakistan to fight Al Qaeda in that country and Afghanistan.
John Boehner: Meanwhile, US House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner said the US should not back away from Pakistan but strengthen ties. Some lawmakers have called for withdrawing US aid from Pakistan after bin Laden was found and killed in that country. But Boehner said it was “not the time to back away from Pakistan,” but rather a time to strengthen ties.

You and Obama blundered by killing Osama.Alqeeda was riding on a injured horse,incapacitated by his failed kidneys,restricted in movement and communication constricted.Couriers took days to pass message or instruction.Now the new Alqeeda without symbolic Osama for years now would be free from his delayed command orders and set free to take instant actions and may prove far more dangerous than with Osama under your watch and ward from a house few yards away, living in comfort of big mansion,two wives and many children.I think Obama the man of base and mean origin is too ambitious person to hazard any principle to stay on power for another term.He blasted every rhetoric of 'change' before last election to pieces to act more Bush .I think America was more safe with Osam under close watch and known strategies than more ferocious and cunning new hierarchy,would be.Those who trust Zardari are again riding a dark horse most hated in his country.
