MARDAN: Star cricketer Junaid Khan on Tuesday visited the slain student Mashal Khan’s home where he condoled with his family.

Junaid Khan is not the first person to visit Mashal Khan’s home. Last month Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan had also visited his home in Mardan and announced that Mashal’s murderers would not be let off under any condition.
However, Awami National Party (ANP) leader Bushra Gohar tweeted earlier today that PTI’s member of provincial assembly from Mardan PK-26 has allegedly helped PTI Councillor Arif Khan to escape to Thailand.

Arif Khan is one of the accused in the murder and a video of him had emerged last month where he could be seen telling the mob not to name Mashal’s murderers or else they’d be considered as ‘blasphemers’.
