Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here on Saturday inaugurated the Fountain House and visited its different sections.
The CM also met with people and distributed gifts among them. The chief minister said that the Punjab government was making all-out efforts to provide education and healthcare facilities to the people.
He said that mentally challenged people required due attention from the society. He added that these people will be provided with the necessary medicines from the government, as well.
He said that the Punjab government was already providing education and health facilities to children of the Fountain House and will continue to do so in the future.
He expressed his satisfaction over working of the Fountain House and gave well deserved credit to Vice Chairman Punjab Endowment Educational Fund (PEEF) Dr Amjad Saqib and his team for their diligent efforts.
He promised that the Punjab government would also ensure a separate ward for women in the house.
