Interior Minister Ch Nisar on Saturday said the state institutions should not communicate each other through tweets.
He was referring to a tweet by ISPR Director General Asif Ghafoor regarding Dawn leaks story.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi, he said it was not an appropriate method among institutions to address each other through social media networks. He said no one is being made scapegoat in Dawn leaks scandal, adding that no one is being saved in the case.

He said such tweets can prove killers for democracy. He said the Ministry of Interior will issue notification regarding findings of Dawn leaks. He wondered how notification was issued by the Prime Minister House. He clarified that the Interior Ministry would issue the notification and would carry the recommendations of the committee in letter and spirit.
Replying to a question about former Tehreek-e-Taliban spokesperson Ehsan Ullah Ehsan’s interview on a private TV channel, he said the media should avoid interviews of under-custody militants.
Earlier, interior minister said the government has already inaugurated 72 new regional passport offices across the country in three years and is planning to provide every district with a passport office after May 31.
