Citizens have demanded the reinstallation of traffic signals on Sadiqabad and Transformer Chowk respectively to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
According to reports, this demand has been made by the citizens saying that traffic congestion spiraled out of control at these two chowks during rush hours and the vehicles line up in long queues for long hours even the ambulances get sandwiched and the patients lying therein have to pass through ordeals while no ray of hope glimmers of their coming out of the long rows of vehicles.
One of the citizens, Sanaullah said due to non-installation of traffic signals on these two chowks, not only people who were riding their vehicles but also pedestrians faced difficulties.
Citizens also demanded to remove encroachments on the sides of two chowks including Charah Road and Kari Road which were creating hurdles in smooth flow of traffic and transport.
