In the wake of Panama case decision there seems to be an unending frenzy in the media flashing demands, statements and analysis of politicians and law experts. The situation is simple; court has ordered formation of Joint Investigation Team to further probe into the matter and the court has not given verdict against the premier. Government has rightly responded with simple stance that they welcome the decision and Prime Minister and his family will cooperate with the JIT proceedings just as they have faced the trial in the court earlier. After this assurance that despite being at the highest executive office our premier will face the due process of law just like a common man, opposition parties should rather appreciate and let the law take its due course. So instead of buzzing around baseless apprehensions about Government for political point scoring, opposition parties should respect the true spirit of Apex court’s decision.
