The clouds that were hovering in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad brought light rain which made the weather pleasant here on Sunday.
The people were delighted and took a sigh of relief with temperatures rising gradually in the city.
The children came out and played in the rain while the elders thanked Allah Almighty for providing relief from increasing temperature.
Earlier, the doctors advised the people take plenty of water to beat the heat.
Metrological department predicted, dust-thunderstorm/rain associated with gusty winds and hailstorms at scattered places in KPK, Punjab, Islamabad, FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob, Sibbi, Naseerabad divisions. Hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
