LUMS, GCU win declamation competition.

Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and Professor Ameer ud Din Medical College (AMC) Ghiyas un Nabi Tayyab said that interfaith dialogue is necessary for inducing harmony among youth to promote mutual understanding in the society.

He expressed these views while speaking at  the prize distribution ceremony held in connection with All Pakistan Interdisciplinary Parliamentary Debate at AMC today.

Professor Ghiyas un Nabi Tayyab also distributed prizes among the position holders of the 5-day competition between universities from all over Pakistan. Government College Lahore University and Forman Christian College University teams won first and second positions respectively in Urdu debate while LUMS and SISA remained first and second in English declamation, respectively.

Professor Ghiyas un Nabi said that AMC rendered great contribution in promoting extra-curricular activities among students to build confidence in them. He said that Pakistan has a bright future. He further said that Pakistan’s youth has great potential, required to cater the needs of the nation in the 21st century and said that they are the Shaheen’s of Iqbal.

Professor Nabi congratulated the heads and teachers of the position holders as well.
