Kala Shadian Union Council Chairman Jamshed Tarar and brother of a civil judge, Naveed Tarar were killed in a firing incident here on Friday.
The sources said that Jamshed Tarar, brother of Naveed Tarar Civil Judge of Rawalpindi was heading towards his home when some unknown assailants opened fire on his vehicle near Jagon Kalan.
As a result Jamshed Tarar died on the spot while his two security guards Qamar and Sikandar along with his one associate sustained injuries. One Sikandar out of injured was stated to be in critical condition.
SHO Altaf Hussain of Qadirabad police station reached the scene with heavy contingent of police and took the body and injured into their custody and shifted them to tehsil headquarters hospital for medico-legal formalities and first aid.
Phalia Bar Association has announced strike to show harmony with this incident.
