Interior minister Chaudhry Nisar has claimed that judges giving the Panamagate verdict had no difference of opinion.
“Though two judges put forth a different opinion than the rest of the five-member bench in the Panamagate case, all of them agreed to form a Joint Investigation Team (JIT),” Nisar said while addressing a news conference in Taxila on Friday.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif narrowly escaped disqualification as majority judges of the five-member Supreme Court bench on Thursday ordered constitution of a joint investigation team (JIT) to further investigate allegations with regard to the Panama Papers case.
