The government is committed to protect the rights of minorities in the country.
This was stated by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in a message of felicitation to Sikh community on the occasion of ‘Baisakhi Mela’. He said ‘Baisakhi Mela’ is a symbol of promoting brotherhood and solidarity between different communities.
The Chief Minister said government has taken the concrete steps for the welfare of minorities, including the Sikh community.
