A factory producing fake number plates was raided by Excise and Taxation Department team and a wholesale dealer was arrested on Thursday.
According to reports, the factory was producing thousands of number plates bearing the logo of Punjab government. An FIR has been registered in this regard. The team seized hundreds of fake number plates along with the equipment used to make them.
It is pertinent to mention here that this has been the first raid on fake number plate makers in the history of Pakistan.
