KARACHI: Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani on Thursday raised the issue of absenteeism among members of the house.
The speaker was also concerned about the members coming late to the assembly.
“I have to wait till the quorum is completed,” he said. “How the house could be run in such a situation?” he asked adding that if the situation continues the session will have to be adjourned.
He urged the MPAs to come on time and advised the secretaries to send the deputy secretaries in their place if they couldn’t make it to the assembly.
