KARACHI
Six people were killed and 13 injured on Sunday in various incidents across Karachi. One man, Arshad alias Cheeta (45), was killed when two unidentified assailants open fire on him at Bijli Ground, on Jahangir Road in Jamshaid Quarter police precincts.
According to North Nazimabad police, unidentified armed assailants opened fire on Ayub in front of his house. Police said it was an incident of personnel enmity. In another incident, Abdullah (30) was gunned down by two motorcyclists in Zaman Town police precincts.
Police have registered a case. A Sunni Tehreek worker, Kamran Ehsan Qadri (30), was killed in Risala police precincts. The body was taken to Civil Hospital. A bullet riddled body was found in Quaidabad police precincts. The body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Meanwhile, 13 people were injured in various incidents across the city. Police and Rangers continued to patrol the city. Sources said law-enforcing agencies had arrested 11 suspects from various areas of the city.
