Through your esteemed newspaper, I would like to throw some light over the chingchi and shuttle service problem in Karachi university.
In Karachi University, the concerned authorities are not allowing the chingchi in the campus due to security reasons even though there is no alternative shuttle service in the university. Students are facing problems due to the unavailability of shuttle or chingchi services in the university as the majority of students are girls from far-flung areas of the metropolis. There is as yet no adequate and reliable transport system available for the students which could provide them with a safe and comfortable journey to and from the university.
I hope that the concerned authorities of University of Karachi will look into this matter and take immediate action for the students.
