MI delegation visits Yuan University in China

A delegation, headed by Muslim Institute Chairman Sahibzada Sultan Ahmad Ali and invited by State University of Yuan paid a three day visit to Yuan (a province of South West China).

An instrument of mutual cooperation was signed between the institute and Yuan University. Areas of collective interest also came into consideration. Muslim Institute chairman interacted with multiple intellectuals from different universities of Yuan. Discussion about Islamic movements and security scenarios of South East Asia came into consideration with a special focus on regional stability. He was also invited to address various conferences organized by intellectuals from provincial think tanks. Sultan exchanged his views regarding China’s vision of one belt one road with a special focus on historic project of China Pakistan Economic Corridor. Alarming regional security paradigm and challenges confronted by South East Asia and South Asia also came into consideration.

On the occasion, a special interactive session was arranged with Chinese students where they were given satisfactory answers of their queries. An enhanced cooperation between China and Pakistan was agreed especially in the field of research and development. After this successful visit, delegation of Muslim Institute has reached back to Pakistan.
