LONDON: Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor has said that terrorist organisations IS and Jamaat-ul-Ahraar have access to key educational institutes of the country.
He made the statement during a media briefing at Pakistani High Commission in London.
The ISPR chief stated that Pakistan is passing through a critical phase but the security situation of the country is improving.
“Taliban no longer has control in any part of Pakistan,” he said.
Ghafoor stated that there was a time when Pakistan was a “darling of the west”.
“The attitude of the western countries towards Pakistan has started to change with the passage of time.”
