Invisible People – the book authored by Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani was launched here on Sunday.
The launching ceremony held at the Arts Council of Pakistan here was attended by Federal Minister Hasil Khan Bizenjo, Provincial Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, media personalities Ghazi Salahuddin, Mujahid Barelvi, Zahida Hina, and Arts Council of Pakistan President Ahmed Shah.
Speaking on the occasion, the senate chairman said that we should serve and take care of the deprived and underprivileged segments of society.
He was of the view that an exploitative system has enhanced the gap between the rich and the poor.
Raza Rabbani stated that students have an important role towards nation-building as well as the progress and development of Pakistan.
Hasil Khan Bizenjo said that Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani while holding the high office, always thinks of the poor and the middle class people and it seems as if he associates himself with such people. He said that Raza Rabbani is a man of principles and his performance in the Senate also speaks of this.
Nisar Khuhro said that the senate chairman is aware of the ills in the society and has stated his feelings in the shape of the book. Zahida Hina said that in his book, Rabbani has highlighted the injustices in society.
The speakers at the launching ceremony praised the efforts of the author and congratulated him on writing the book.
