Former governor of Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar said that corruption was the root cause of deterioration of a society and its institutions. The only way to root out corruption is to hold all who are guilty of corruption accountable, he said.
“The census will play an important role to bring change in the country. All people who think of a change are standing by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Imran Khan, Sarwar said.
Ch Sarwar was addressing party workers here on Friday. He said that accountability should be across the board and must be ensured irrespective of party affiliations. “The PTI has always done politics of principles and has not been affiliated with any corrupt person. Accountability should be transparent and across the board to proceed towards a prosperous and developed Pakistan,” he said.
