Islamabad: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that constitutional draft bill on extension of military courts has been given final shape which will be approved by National Assembly (NA) on Monday and from Senate on Tuesday.
He said this while talking to media men outside Parliament house on Friday.
Dar said complaints of political parties about the extension in tenure of military courts have been addressed to a considerable extent and the matters are moving ahead successfully.
He went on to say JUI Chief Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman has still reservations on the formation of military courts. We are in contact with him and soon his concerns will be allayed.
He said the constitutional draft bill has been amended and given final shape. The draft bill is now being sent to all parties with adding PPP amendments.
Replying to a question the minister said that a parliamentary party meeting of the PML-N has been convened on Monday to discuss national issues including the revival of military courts Panama and others.
