Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon visited the office of the Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) on Sunday.
He met with KUJ office-bearers and members of its executive committee.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister lauded the role of the journalist community towards the cause of democracy in the country.
He pointed out that journalism is a very noble profession. Memon spoke about the government’s “great interest” in the problems of the journalist community and how it wishes to solve thme.
The KUJ office bearers informed the minister about their problems and put forward suggestions for the improving lives of journalists.
