JHELUM: Police and security forces arrested 54 suspects in Jhelum and Lodhran in the ongoing military operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
Over 50 houses were searched in Lodhran and 40 individuals were arrested from the city. 14 suspects were arrested from Jhelum.
Arms and ammunition were recovered from one suspect. The biometric verification of the arrested individuals is underway, according to police officials.
10 unidentified motorcycles were taken in police custody from Lodhran in the ongoing country-wide operation.
The arrested individuals will be charged under the Punjab Tenancy Act, the police said.
