SHC’s Justice Saeed passes away; CJ extends condolence

Justice Saeed-ud-Din Nasir of Sindh High Court (SHC) Hyderabad bench has died on Thursday of cardiac arrest.

Justice Saeed-ud-Din felt chest pain during the hearing of a case. He was immediately shifted to the Civil Hospital Hyderabad.

On receiving the news about his ailment, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah directed the commissioner of Hyderabad to shift Justice Saeed immediately to a private hospital of Karachi through helicopter and provide him better medical treatment.  However, Justice Saeed could not survive and passed away.

The administration of Civil Hospital Hyderabad did not issue any notification regarding the death of deceased Justice Saeed-ud-Din; however, Allah Bachio Samroo, Advocate General Sindh said that Justice Saeed-ud-Din has died due to cardiac arrest and his dead body would be shifted to Karachi through helicopter.

Chief Justice of Supreme Court Main Saqib Nisar expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Justice Nasir.

He extended his heartfelt condolence and sincere sympathies to members of the bereaved family of the departed soul.

The chief justice and judges prayed for the departed soul and for patience to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.
