Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif here on Wednesday opened the sixth census in Punjab by marking his Model Town residence’s count as 006.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that the census had been launched in 16 districts of Punjab in its first phase. He said that the importance of the census was undeniable for the perfect utilization of resources and better planning.
He urged the public to cooperate with the census staff by providing authentic and correct information.
