Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Tuesday transferred a ‘controversial’ officer Fiaz Ahmed Wattoo from Deputy Director Law Directorate to Additional Director Estate Affectees, Land and Rehabilitation.
All in all, five officers were transferred on Tuesday. It seems like the top civic body is going against their own policies introduced by member administration by calling it, “right man for the right job,” and withdrew the additional charges given to the officers.
It is pertinent to mention here that Wattoo was accused of misusing his powers by purchasing files from land affectees at throwaway prices and got a precious plot from the authority by using his influence.
“There are four inquiries pending against the said official with CDA and FIA. However, he may use his links in parliament for transfer in CDA Land Directorate. Now, ‘right man for right job’ policy seems under carpet,” said an officer of Human Resource Department.
It seems like the top civic body is going against their own policies introduced by member administration by calling it right man for the right job.
