Taking a complete U-turn, members of Pakistan Muslim League- Quaid (PML-Q) Unification Bloc on Saturday refused to resign as heads of standing committees of the Punjab Assembly.
According to a private television channel, on March 6, 11 members of the Unification Bloc announced their decision to step down as heads of provincial standing committees.
The Unification Bloc consists of MPAs who were elected on PML-Q’s tickets and later formed a separate group and announced their support for PML-N in Punjab.
