Skitamasha, an annual drama competition organized by Dramaline, the dramatics society of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), kicked off on Friday at the varsity’s sports complex. The theme for the three-day event is ‘streets to the stage’. Drama teams were given fifteen to thirty minutes to stage their performances, which ranged from slapstick comedy to skits. Dramaline presented ‘Teesri Dastak’, directed by Mariya Dada, a play that has previously won four awards at the Fast University’s Drama Festival. Theater enthusiasts thronged the varsity’s sports complex and appreciated the skits.
